Day 1: Arrival in Kigali – Transfer to Volcanoes National Park

On arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be welcomed by your professional guide from Fiston Tours. Depending on your flight schedule, you may enjoy a short Kigali city tour, visiting the Kigali Genocide Memorial, local markets, or art galleries. Afterward, embark on a scenic drive through Rwanda’s rolling hills to Musanze, the gateway to Volcanoes National Park. The journey itself is a highlight, offering views of the countryside, tea plantations, and the majestic Virunga Volcanoes. Overnight stay at a lodge near Volcanoes National Park.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park

After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing before starting your once-in-a-lifetime gorilla trekking adventure. With experienced park rangers, you will trek through lush forests and volcanic terrain in search of a mountain gorilla family. The trek can take a few hours, but the reward is extraordinary—spending one magical hour observing gorillas in their natural habitat. Watching a silverback guard his family, mothers care for infants, and juveniles play is an unforgettable experience. After the trek, return to your lodge for relaxation. Day 3: Golden Monkey Trekking and Nature Adventure

This day is dedicated to another rare primate encounter—golden monkey trekking in Volcanoes National Park. These playful and endangered monkeys live in the bamboo forests of the park and are known for their striking golden-orange fur and lively behavior. The trek is shorter and less demanding than gorilla trekking, making it a fun and rewarding experience. After meeting the golden monkeys, you will have time to explore the beautiful landscapes of Musanze or relax at your lodge. Day 4: Return to Kigali – Departure

After breakfast, enjoy a leisurely drive back to Kigali, passing through Rwanda’s scenic hills and villages.
