Day 1: Arrival in Kigali – Welcome to Rwanda

Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by a representative from Fiston Tours and transferred to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, you may enjoy a short tour of Kigali city, exploring local markets, art galleries, or the Kigali Convention Centre illuminated at night. Day 2: Wildlife Safari in Akagera National Park

After an early breakfast, drive to the eastern part of the country for your wildlife safari in Akagera National Park. The park is Rwanda’s only savannah park and home to the Big Five—lions, elephants, leopards, buffalos, and rhinos—along with giraffes, zebras, hippos, and hundreds of bird species. Day 3: Full-Day Safari in Akagera and Boat Cruise on Lake Ihema

Day 4: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park – Home of the Gorillas

Day 5: Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park

This is the highlight of your safari—the unforgettable gorilla trekking in Volcanoes National Park. After an early breakfast, you will be briefed by park rangers and assigned to a gorilla family. The trek can take a few hours depending on the gorillas’ location, but once found, you will spend one magical hour watching them feed, play, and interact. The experience is humbling and emotional, offering a rare glimpse into the life of these majestic creatures. In the afternoon, you may choose an optional cultural visit to Iby’Iwacu Cultural Village. Day 6: Lake Kivu Adventure – Relaxation and Scenic Beauty

Day 7: Kigali City Tour and Departure
